$2 Million Dog

A story out of China has the team at Petplan wondering what lengths people will go to find a new best friend?!

According to reports, a property developer in China has paid $12 Chinese Yuan (which is the equivalent to over $2 Million Australian Dollars) for a one year old "luxury" pet. The Tibetan Mastiff are the crème de la crème of status symbols in China, and having one of these dogs by your side is a sign of power and invincibility.

The breeder, Zhang Gengyun, pointed out to one news outlet that his dogs "have lion's blood and are top-of-the-range mastiff studs"! To read more about this breed, click here
